The Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Chennai, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, met with a delegation from Astron Ltd., led by its Managing Director, Dr. Ross De Zilwa, accompanied by Mr. Dilshan Indiketiya, Export Business Manager, on 30th July 2026. The delegation briefed the Deputy High Commissioner on Astron Ltd.'s plans to expand its operations in India, with Tamil Nadu identified as a key destination for business and investment. Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors and on strengthening Sri Lanka–India trade and investment relations.
