Mr. Shankar Vanavarayar, Chairman, CII Southern Region Taskforce on International Business Development & South India, and Ms. Anitha Vasudevan, Head – International Division, CII Southern Region, paid a courtesy call on Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Southern India, on 8 September 2026. During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening India–Sri Lanka trade and investment linkages, as well as the upcoming “NAMASTE ASIA SUMMIT 2026 – South India Meets Asia”, scheduled to be held on 29 September 2026 in Chennai under the theme “Building Partnerships for Asia’s Next Growth Story.”
