The Deputy High Commission of Sri Lanka in Chennai facilitated a business interaction between the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Kerala and the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC), Sri Lanka on 3 September 2026 in Kochi, focusing on “India–Sri Lanka Trade and Economic Cooperation.” The session brought together representatives of CII Kerala and CCC to explore opportunities for strengthening institutional linkages and fostering closer engagement between the business communities of India and Sri Lanka.Discussions highlighted the potential for enhanced bilateral trade, investment, business partnerships and cross-border collaboration, while identifying new avenues for industry-to-industry engagement.The interaction concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthen India–Sri Lanka economic relations and create new opportunities for cooperation between businesses of the two countries.
