The Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Chennai, Dr. Ganesanathan Geathiswaran, participated in the 4th Edition of the India–Asia Business Conclave 2026, organised by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) on 31 July and 1 August 2026 at HITEX City, Hyderabad, held alongside the Eco Sustain Expo 2026. During the Conclave, the Deputy High Commissioner delivered a presentation on business and investment opportunities in Sri Lanka and shared his insights on trade, investment and economic cooperation, highlighting opportunities to further strengthen business and economic ties between Sri Lanka, India and other Asian countries. The event brought together Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consuls General, diplomats, policymakers, investors, business leaders and other stakeholders to exchange views and explore opportunities for enhanced regional cooperation, investment and partnerships. The Conclave was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, as the Chief Guest.
