• Economic & Tourism Promotion: Facilitate bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and promote Sri Lanka as a premier leisure, wedding, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.
• Consular Services: Provide prompt, citizen-centric, and secure consular services—including visas, passport processing, and civil registration—for the Sri Lankan diaspora and visitors in the region.
• Education & Skill Development: Foster academic and research collaborations between Sri Lankan institutions and premier Southern Indian universities, alongside supporting joint skill development initiatives.
• Diaspora Engagement: Nurture deep people-to-people ties, supporting the historical, cultural, and familial connections shared between the people of Sri Lanka and Southern India
